I was raised in and around the Umpqua Valley, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.  I love the great outdoors.  The mountains, waterfalls, wetlands, valleys, and oceans are what this region, which I call home, so fascinating and exciting to explore. Creativity flows from within me in many forms.  From gardening and floral design to baking and cooking, sketching and painting to crafting and sewing.  My Love of art began when I was a child.  I've always enjoyed discovering new ways to be creative.

 

Although I have been an artist for many years, I have not always been a painter.  Painting is something that came to me during a difficult time in my life and is an outlet that I cherish far more than words can describe.

 

I work primarily with acrylic paints and epoxy resin, however, I have been known to step outside the box, painting on 3-D objects, tables, and random household items.  I do not always know what a day in the studio will produce, but whatever it is, someone is sure to find something of interest.
