Artist Judy Nigh painting outdoor on a river bank.

I am a native of Northern California and moved to Oregon in 1990 with my husband and 3 children. We reside in Roseburg, Oregon and I consider myself very fortunate to live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I am a co-owner of Gallery Northwest and an active member of Umpqua Valley Art Association, International Society of Experimental Artists and a signature member of Watercolor Society of Oregon. I’m proud to say I have won awards on both a state and international level. I’ve had basic instruction in watercolor and am self-taught in oil and acrylic. My watercolor paintings are fairly realistic to capture the beauty of what I see and want to share with others. My mixed media abstracts are purely an expression of my emotions and come from within.
